Skinfluence Event Terms and Conditions

 

By purchasing a ticket to Skinfluence (the “Event”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Attendance at the Event constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

 

1. Ticket Policy

​

All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Skinfluence does not provide refunds for any reason including but not limited to schedule conflicts, travel disruptions, personal circumstances, speaker cancellations, programming updates, or dissatisfaction with the Event experience. Tickets may be transferred up to twenty-one (21) days before the Event in accordance with Skinfluence transfer procedures. Skinfluence reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify the Event due to circumstances beyond its control including weather, venue conditions, public safety considerations, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases Skinfluence may determine remedies including rescheduling, credit toward a future event, or other solutions at its sole discretion.

2. Assumption of Risk

​

Attendance at Skinfluence involves participation in a live event environment including exhibitions, demonstrations, product interactions, educational sessions, and experiential activations. By attending the Event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance including risks of personal injury, illness, allergic reactions, property damage, or other harm.

 

3. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Skinfluence, its organizers, affiliates, sponsors, partners, venue operators, employees, contractors, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, illness, allergic reaction, loss, damage, theft, property damage, financial loss, or other harm of any kind arising from or related to attendance at the Event. You agree to release and hold harmless Skinfluence and all affiliated parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the Event.

4. Limitation of Liability

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Skinfluence and its affiliates for any claim arising out of or related to the Event shall not exceed the amount paid by the attendee for their ticket.

Skinfluence shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

 

5. Privacy Policy

​

By registering for the Event, attendees acknowledge and agree to Skinfluence's Privacy Policy governing the collection, use, and protection of personal information. A complete Privacy Policy is available on the Skinfluence website and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

 

6. Communications Consent

​

By registering for the Event, attendees consent to receive event-related communications regarding registration, schedules, event updates, logistics, and attendee services. Attendees may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

​

7. Educational Content and Medical Disclaimer

​

Skinfluence provides educational programming, panel discussions, demonstrations, and informational content related to skincare, dermatology, wellness, and consumer products. All information presented at the Event is for general educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing presented at Skinfluence constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Participation in sessions, conversations with speakers, or attendance at presentations does not create a physician–patient relationship between attendees and any speakers, physicians, or healthcare professionals participating in the Event. Attendees should consult their own healthcare providers before making decisions regarding skincare treatments, medical procedures, or product use.

8. No Physician–Patient Relationship

​

Participation in skin consultations, skin imaging sessions, demonstrations, educational discussions, product experiences, or interactions with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, aestheticians, or other healthcare professionals at the Event does not establish a physician–patient relationship or any other healthcare provider–patient relationship. No diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, medical advice, or ongoing medical care is provided through participation in the Event.

9. Skin Diagnostics, Demonstrations, and Product Interactions

​

The Event may feature skincare technologies, skin analysis tools, demonstrations, product sampling, consultations, and educational experiences. Participation in these activities is voluntary. Attendees may voluntarily participate in skin analysis, product demonstrations, or consultations provided by third parties, and Skinfluence is not responsible for outcomes, reactions, or results arising from such participation. All such activities are provided for informational or experiential purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Skinfluence is not responsible for any allergic reactions, injuries, adverse outcomes, or results related to participation in these activities.

 

10. Exhibitor Demonstrations and Treatments

​

Product demonstrations, device demonstrations, skin treatments, consultations, testing, or other experiential activities conducted within exhibitor booths or sponsored activations are operated and controlled by the exhibiting company or vendor. Attendees who choose to participate in such demonstrations do so voluntarily and at their own risk. Skinfluence does not supervise, control, or assume responsibility for the conduct, safety practices, products, services, or equipment used by exhibitors. Any injury, reaction, dissatisfaction, or claim arising from participation in exhibitor demonstrations or services is solely the responsibility of the exhibitor or vendor providing the activity.

 

11. Exhibitor and Vendor Responsibility

Skinfluence does not manufacture, sell, endorse, or control products or services offered by exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, or speakers participating in the Event. Any interaction, consultation, purchase, or use of products or services from exhibitors or vendors is solely between the attendee and the exhibitor or vendor. Skinfluence disclaims all liability for claims arising from products, services, advice, demonstrations, or treatments provided by exhibitors or vendors.

12. Emergency Medical Assistance

​

If an attendee experiences a medical emergency during the Event, Skinfluence and its representatives may seek emergency medical assistance on the attendee's behalf. The attendee remains solely responsible for all resulting medical costs, treatment expenses, transportation charges, and other related expenses.

​

13. No Guarantee of Results

​

Skinfluence is an educational and experiential event intended to introduce attendees to a variety of products, technologies, services, and ideas. Skinfluence does not guarantee any specific outcomes, improvements, or results from products, treatments, technologies, advice, or services presented or discussed at the Event. Individual results from skincare products, treatments, or technologies may vary significantly based on individual factors.

14. Photography, Video, and Media Release

​

The Event may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. By attending Skinfluence you grant Skinfluence and its authorized partners the unrestricted right to capture and use your image, likeness, voice, or appearance in photography, video, promotional materials, advertising, digital media, and future marketing without compensation. All official photography, video, and recorded content from the Event remains the property of Skinfluence.

15. Content Use and Commercial Filming

​

Photography and video for personal, non-commercial use may be permitted unless otherwise restricted by event staff. Commercial photography, filming, live streaming, media interviews, promotional use, or broadcast from the Event requires prior written approval from Skinfluence. Unauthorized commercial activity, solicitation, filming, or promotion within the Event venue may result in removal from the Event without refund. All Skinfluence trademarks, branding, event names, logos, programming formats, and visual assets remain the exclusive intellectual property of Skinfluence and may not be used without written consent.

16. Event Credentials and Wristbands

​

All attendees must always wear their official Skinfluence wristband or event credential while inside the Event venue or participating in any Skinfluence programming. Entry to the Event or any associated activity may be denied without proper credentials. Lost or removed wristbands may not be replaced at the discretion of event staff. Skinfluence reserves the right to deny entry or remove individuals who do not comply with credential requirements.

17. Code of Conduct

​

Skinfluence is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. Attendees must behave appropriately and comply with all event policies and venue rules. Prohibited behavior includes harassment, discrimination, disruptive conduct, unsafe behavior, excessive intoxication, property damage, unauthorized solicitation, or violations of venue policies or local laws. Skinfluence reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual from the Event without refund for behavior deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.

18. Participation in Event Activities

​

Skinfluence reserves the right to refuse participation in consultations, presentations, demonstrations, imaging experiences, or other activations for safety, operational, capacity, or logistical reasons.

​

19. Physical Activities and Assumption of Risk

​

Participation in any fitness, walking, running, wellness, recovery, or physical activity is voluntary and undertaken at the attendee's own risk. Attendees are solely responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of participating in any activity offered at the Event. Skinfluence shall not be liable for any injury, illness, medical condition, or other harm arising from participation in such activities.

20. Outside Food and Beverage

​

Outside food and beverages are not permitted within the Event venue unless required for medical reasons.

Food and beverage service within the venue will be provided by authorized venue partners or approved vendors.

​

21. Personal Property

​

Attendees are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings. Skinfluence is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

​

22. Minors

​

Skinfluence welcomes attendees of all ages. Attendees under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian while attending the Event. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for supervising minors attending the Event and assume all risks associated with the minor's attendance and participation in Event activities. Skinfluence reserves the right to deny admission to unaccompanied minors.

23. Ticket Resale

​

Tickets may not be resold or distributed for commercial purposes without the written consent of Skinfluence.

Skinfluence reserves the right to invalidate tickets that are resold in violation of these terms.

​

24. Accessibility and Accommodations

​

Attendees requiring accommodations due to disability, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions are encouraged to contact Skinfluence in advance. Skinfluence will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee all accommodations.

 

25. No Endorsement

​

The participation of speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, brands, or partners does not constitute endorsement by Skinfluence of any product, service, treatment, claim, opinion, or recommendation.

 

26. Program and Speaker Changes

​

Skinfluence reserves the right to modify speakers, programming, event layouts, demonstrations, schedules, and event experiences at any time without liability. Speaker participation, exhibitor attendance, demonstrations, and event experiences are not guaranteed.

 

27. Intellectual Property

​

Skinfluence, Open Current Media, event names, logos, trademarks, graphics, content, materials, and related intellectual property are owned by their respective owners and may not be used, reproduced, distributed, or exploited without prior written consent.

 

28. Disclaimer of Warranties

​

The Event and all associated content, programming, products, demonstrations, experiences, materials, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Skinfluence disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

 

29. Force Majeure

​

Skinfluence shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including weather events, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, labor disputes, venue issues, or other force majeure events.

 

30. Compliance with Venue Policies

 

All attendees must comply with venue rules, safety policies, and security procedures established by the host venue. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event.

 

31. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

​

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Event or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration rather than in court. Arbitration shall take place in Miami-Dade County, Florida. By agreeing to these Terms, you waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class arbitration against Skinfluence.

32. Governing Law

​

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to the Event shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

33. Severability

​

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
